The main difference between the HD and standard Powergrip is disc surface; both HD friction surfaces are sintered iron. Sintered iron provides enough slippage on launch to prevent the violent, uncontrollable engagement characteristics of metallic paddle-type discs. WHAT WARRANTY DOESN'T COVER
